  71. LICENSE/REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  73.      MicroCook is not, nor has ever been, public domain or free
  74. software. MicroCook is distributed as Shareware. Shareware is the 
  75. best type of software, it's software you can try before you pay  
  76. for it! Paying for Shareware is called "registering." If you 
  77. bought a copy of this software through a disk vendor, paid to
  78. download the software from a BBS, or got a copy from a friend;
  79. you did NOT register it. 
  80.        
  81.      The registered version of MicroCook may not be duplicated
  82. other than for backup purposes. A registered copy of MicroCook
  83. must be treated like a book, in that the same registered copy of
  84. MicroCook may not be used in more than one computer at the same
  85. time, just as a book cannot be handled and read by more than one
  86. person at the same time.

  88.      When you register MicroCook, you are paying for the time
  89. and effort that went into, and continues to go into developing
  90. MicroCook. It is also the ONLY legal way for you to continue
  91. using the program after the 30 days trial period.

  93. To register:
  94.      Select Register from the Print Menu, and select if you 
  95.      want to register
  96.      ..by credit card from Albert's Ambry Web site.
  97.      ..by check or money order through postal mail.
  98.      ..if you are a CompuServe member, through SWREG  
  99.      ..with either MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover
  100.        credit card, through PsL.
  101.      You can receive your Serial Number and Control number for
  102. the KEY file via e-mail if you have a e-mail address. You will
  103. receive it as soon as either CompuServe or PsL notify me that you
  104. have registered, or as soon as I receive a check or money order
  105. from you. This will remove the "Please register" messages a
  106. little faster. You will still receive the disk with the KEY,
  107. MCDBFIX and the 2000 recipes.

  109.      The "Register MicroCook" item on Print menu is only
  110. available if MicroCook is NOT registered.
  111.  
  112.      You are granted a limited license to use the Shareware
  113. version of MicroCook for a limited evaluation period of up to 30  
  114. days, in order to determine if it suits your needs. Any other    
  115. use of MicroCook or use past this period requires registration.
  116.      
  117.      You are granted a limited license to copy the Shareware 
  118. version of MicroCook only for the purpose of allowing others to  
  119. try it, subject to the above restrictions as well as these:   
  120. MicroCook must be distributed in absolutely unmodified form,    
  121. including ALL program, documentation, and other files.

  123.      Distributors of Shareware, please see VENDINFO.DIZ for
  124. additional information.

  126.      To print or view the documentation included with MicroCook,
  127. select "File Manager" from the Tool Menu in MicroCook. Here you
  128. will have the option to print the file you are viewing. You can
  129. also print the manual from the Print Menu. This will add a left
  130. margin to the printout so you can use a hole punch and place the
  131. manual in a 3-ring binder. If you are printing to a continuous
  132. feed printer (DOT-Matrix), you should locate the first page
  133. perforation about 1 inch above where the print head is located.
  134. This will format the text better on the page.
